Recently, under the promotion of community enthusiasts and deepin R&D team, we have completed the adaptation work of Moore Threads MTT S80 graphics card and successfully driven MTT S80 graphics card on deepin V23 Beta2 version.

It is reported that the adapted Moore Threads MTT S80 graphics card is equipped with a complete "Spring Dawn" chip core, built-in 4096 MUSA stream processing cores, 128 Tensor tensor cores. At 1.8GHz, it is capable of delivering 14.4TFLOPS of single-precision floating-point arithmetic.

The deepin MTT S80 trial version image is now available for download and trial. The MTT S80 graphics driver runs stably on deepin V23 Beta2 operating system, and is able to reach the level of mainstream Linux platform graphics cards.

Runtime

Currently, the driver supports Opengl 4.0 and Opengl ES 3.2, but since it is still a technology preview version, it only supports kernel version 5.15, and some of the userland drivers have not yet been merged into the mainline.

In addition, there are some other problems, which need to be solved by subsequent updates. Therefore, please be careful when using it in production environments.
