About COSCUP
COSCUP (Conference for Open Source Coders, Users and Promoters) open source annual conference is the largest open source conference organized by the community in Chinese areas and was first launched in 2006.
From organization to implementation, the conference are carrying out its own principles and comprehension and cognition of open source, which believes developers, users and promoters are the three pillars of open source:
- Coder (Talent) is the major producer, but also the user of other programs.
- User will become the next coder or promoter after knew FLOSS culture and skilled.
- Promoter is the important medium to expand of the number of users, and also the optimal role COSCUP wants to play.
