I. February Community Data Overview

II. Community Products

1. deepin 25.0.12 Internal Testing Launched: File Manager Enhancements, Multi-Screen & Audio Issues Fixed
In February, the deepin 25 internal test version 25.0.12 was released, focusing on expanding file manager functionality and optimizing system stability:

  • File Manager Efficiency Upgrade: Supports right-click to pin top tabs, allowing important directories to remain permanently accessible; when previewing images, the sidebar supports drag-and-drop enlargement, making viewing images more efficient for work.

  • Email Function Enhancement: Added email printing feature to meet daily office needs.

  • High-Frequency Issue Fixes: Resolved issues such as slow performance when checking for updates in the Control Center, upgrade failures due to the BOOT partition being full, wallpaper not displaying on the extended secondary screen in dual-screen mode and related lock screen anomalies, accidental volume adjustment triggers, terminal animation lag, and transparency display issues with Linglong apps (e.g., Cinema, Mail). System fluency and reliability have been further improved.

2. UOS AI Adds Agent Skills: Transforming AI from "Theorist" to "Doer"
UOS AI has undergone a significant capability upgrade with the addition of the Agent Skills feature, enabling the AI to directly execute specific tasks, moving beyond just providing suggestions.

  • Core Value: Users only need to issue a one-sentence command (e.g., "Merge PDF," "Download Bilibili video"), and the AI can invoke pre-set logic to complete the operation, truly realizing "action over words."

  • Open Compatibility: Compatible with the Anthropic Skill specification; skills shared by the community can be directly imported. It includes a built-in Skill creator, where users describe their needs in natural language, and the AI automatically generates the skill code, enabling customization with zero门槛.

  • Lightweight Management: Supports one-click import and deletion of skills from the Skill Market, allowing flexible expansion of personal workflows. Coupled with the MCP protocol, the AI can accurately read and write files, query system status, and execute tasks more reliably.

3. deepin Home & Forum
In February, a total of 111 user bug reports and feature requests were received through channels like deepin Home and the Forum, including:

  • Bug Reports: 67 total; 3 resolved.

  • Feature Requests: 44 total; 6 included in version planning, 3 added to the requirements pool, 1 rejected.
Due to the Spring Festival holiday, the progress on handling bug and feature requests has been slightly slower. Our R&D and testing personnel will accelerate processing. We appreciate your understanding.
